Cleanses

cleanse

Smoothie your veg. And cleanse.

Hit the reset button with 7 days of super healthy eats.

Hi, I’m Heather. I’m a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Vegan. And a chocoholic. Which is totally fine. But sometimes I need a little reset. To remember that my happiness doesn’t rely on how many squares of chocolate I have each evening (just one more tonight… turns into one more again tomorrow…) Just a few days to reset my habits back to super-healthy. The rest of the year, it’s all about balance.

If you struggle with cravings, bloating, breakouts, mental fog… a short cleanse might be just the thing for you.

Now, let’s be clear: we don’t need to force-flush our bodies in some intense detox. Our bodies’ systems – liver, kidneys, colon, etc – are perfectly designed to detox every single day. But with the stress, low quality foods, sugar and caffeine of modern life it can help our bodies keep up if we do the occasional refresh.

We are going to fuel and nourish your body so you feel refreshed, energized and back on track with healthy habits.

Take the hassle out of “what am I going to eat?” and “what groceries do I need?”
Everything you need to get on track right now – so you’re never left wondering what to make.

“I feel really good & I’m down 4.5 pounds. I already have the one week (long-term) meal plan & will start that on Sunday… May even do the cleanse again, at some point this summer. It was a pleasure & a lot of fun. I learned quite a bit, about foods that work for me & foods that don’t…”

Today my day 5 on the detox plan and I feel AMAZING. My husband and I lost 2kg each without feeling deprived and eating wonderful foods (we are not counting portions or calories). The recipes are easy and tasty. The smoothies are amazing and super filling. I don't think I'm going back to my usual breakfast ever again. My energy level seems to be getting better and better. Thanks for giving me the tools I so desperately needed to change the way I eat and live.

“Heather…the Squash soup was AMAZING. My 20 month old who will not touch veggies of any kind ate several spoonfuls!”

“Your recommendations so far have had amazing results. You were right, sugary things and refined grains were causing me problems. I really did not expect my health to improve so significantly by taking them out (I was relying partly on them for energy). I haven’t incorporated all of your tips yet, but I’m in the process of, and will keep following your advice as closely as possible. Thanks so much, you’re truly an amazing nutritionist.”

“So far the cleanse has helped me to discover some of the foods my body simply doesn’t like… foods I have been eating for years! I can feel some of my symptoms lifting already, but more importantly, psychologically I feel GREAT about what I am finally doing for my body.”

“I enjoyed the cleanse very much. I got the results I wanted. I like the daily videos, they were very helpful. I really got to get back in touch with when I actually feel hungry and it got me back on track with my healthy eating habits as well. I now realize how much I was eating when I wasn’t really hungry at all. I would anticipate that I would be hungry and eat before if I was busy and knew I wouldn’t have a chance to eat later. I also got a better handle on portion sizes for my meals. The cleanse was great and I will definitely recommend it to everyone I know. I love your website and recipes! Thank you for all you do!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I allowed to have chocolate?

Don’t worry, I love chocolate, too. I don’t believe that chocolate and health are mutually exclusive, in fact there are a lot of benefits to high quality dark chocolate. You may find some benefits from taking a little break for a few days, but then I’ll also show you how to make super healthy chocolate treats, so you can get your fix.

What happens if I miss a day?

No worries. Pick up again the next day and carry on, you can just extend your meals a day further. You can download all the recipes and resources, so you can do the plan over again and again if you wish.

Do you use tofu/soy?

I don’t include any tofu in my recipes, only because I don’t often cook with it. The only soy products I use are frozen green edamame beans (you can swap for another bean or frozen peas), tamari/soy sauce (which you can swap for a soy-free aminos or just a bit of sea salt) and occasionally miso or tempeh. I’m happy to help with substitution ideas for any allergens.

I don't have a lot of time - can I handle this?

Well, I can’t guarantee it, but my plans are designed to not make you a slave to the kitchen. A lot of the food can be prepped on Sunday, and you’ll only need about 30 minutes or less on weekdays. Weekday lunches are often leftovers or a quick-prep sandwich, designed to be grab n go. If you want more variety and have the time, the online program allows you to swap in other recipes for lunches.
